Trying to merge Simonson-325 and Simonsen-466

Question

These two are both project protected by the New Netherland Settlers Project,  The merge cannot be done.  I get the red banner saying Simonson-325 needs to be merged into  Simonsen-466.  I click the button and it reverses saying Simonson-466 needs to be merged into Simonsen-325.  Can someone help complete this merge?

At the moment the LNAB doesn’t appear to be settled, as the person has suggested Simmons on one and Simonson on the other. This might be causing confusion on merging.
