I don't want to screw this up so how do I pin this on my Grandfather.  Andrew Riddell Miller Rank Gunner; Unit RH and RFA (Royal Horse and Royal Field Artillery) Service No. 66014 From 4 Aug 1914 to 17 May 1919 awarded the Victory Medal for certain. Thanks

I added a link to Andrew and some Tags to the question, to get some attention of the Military and war group. They should be able to help you with some Stickers and Categories.
Added the Royal Field Artillery category. Looking for Royal Horse.
I finally figured it out.  I copied my Dad's and the entered all the info vis a vis my Grandfather and boom it all happened.  Good news.
To assist, I believe the Correct title is RHA (Royal Horse Artillery).

On 1 July 1899, the Royal Artillery was divided into three groups: the Royal Horse Artillery of 21 batteries and the Royal Field Artillery of 95 batteries composed one group, while the coastal defence, mountain, siege and heavy batteries were split off into another group named the Royal Garrison Artillery of 91 companies.  He definitely served in the Royal Field Artillery portion.

Not an answer, but an additional question...

Are you asking how to add a badge? (Irrespective, I cannot tell you, but I wanted more clarity--and if you are looking for information on how to place a badge on a profile, I'm also looking for answers, so I sincerely hope someone who knows is able to reply.)

But are you asking about a badge/sticker, and how to place it on an individual page?

This may help

Badges, given out by Leaders of projects. They go on your page

Project boxes should only be used by Projects They go on the middle of the profile.

Stickers and Help Stickers for Veterans goes on the right side. Stickers are what most of us should be using.

But when in doubt, ask here in G2G, some of them get very complex.

I almost forgot Profile boxes

All of these are now built by the Templates Project

Hope this helps

This page has a link to all the wars that have stickers that can be added to profiles.  I think that is what you are looking for to add to one profile. Each war template may have different parameters, so follow the link to the usage instructions for the war needed.

Richard, since your grandfather was awarded the Victory Medal he has to have also been awarded the [[Category: British War Medal]] as one could not receive the Victory Medal without the other.  As he enlisted in 1914 he should also have qualified for the [[Category: 1914-1915 Star]].

Good Day

If I may, I would to make a couple of observations;

First, in the image of the medal card - it indicates (ditto marks) that grand father was also award the British War Medal - VM and MWM were always issued in pairs.

Second, what is called his service record is only part of his service record - it is actually his discharge certificate.  I know it is a shot in the dark (due to fire in WWII) - I would suggest that you search the National Archieves (UK).  You may find his complete service record there.  Regimental Museum for The Royal Regiment of Artillery may have some more info as well.
