Biography

Anna was born in 1672 in Selbitz,Oberfranken,Bayern,Germany. Also found as born in 1680 in Hausen, Canton, Zurich, Switzerland

Last name also spelled "Bare" or "Bär"

She married Abraham Mylin Herr in 1698 in Zürich, , Zurich, Switzerland.

She died in 1749 in Manor Township, Lancaster, Province of Pennsylvania. Also found as in 1720 in Manor Township, Lancaster, Province of Pennsylvania.

Research Notes

Writing in 1999, Richard Warren Davis shows Anna Bar, the second child of Heinrich Bar and probably Verena Meyer, as being born about 1666. He says she married at Streichenberg, Mennonite Hans Nussli of Steinsfurt on June 10, 1687 (marriage recorded in the Steinsfurt church records) and that she died in Steinsfurt on July 24, 1702 at age 36. [1]

She is not found mentioned in Burgert's book on the Northern Kraichgau.
