"Rachael" and William are found on the United States Census of 1850, living in Franklin county, Virginia, with five children, all born in Virginia: Sparrel Lavinder, William Lavinder, Emily Lavinder, Giles O. Lavinder and [Mary] Elizabeth Lavinder. [2]
"Rachael" and William are found in the marriage records for their daughter Mary Elizabeth Lavinder, who married Henry Love, son of Catherine Love, on August 3, 1861, in Franklin county, Virginia. [3]
