The third child of Timen Stiddem and his second wife was born probably at Fort Trinity (now New Castle, Delaware).

"Erasmus (also called Asmund), born c. 1658, who married Margaret, the daughter of Samuel Petersson. He died in 1712, survived by seven children."[1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Erasmus by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Erasmus:

Comment removed. I had erroneously suggested that Stedham-2 and Stiddem-5 should be merged. Stedham-2 may be the son of Stiddem-5 based on their respective DOB's and the DOB of the child of Stedham-2.

I see this has been pending for a while. Not knowing anything about the individuals at play, here; should these profiles be merged, still?

Thanks Eric. I'll take care of it.

Stedham-20 and Stiddem-5 appear to represent the same person because: I have reviewed these profiles on behalf of the New Sweden Project and believe that Stedham-20 should be merged into Stiddem-5. The work of Peter Stebbins Craig, cited on Stiddem-5, implies that Stiddem is the proper LNAB, and in later life the sons all moved to the spelling Stidham.
