David Vawter was a Virginia colonist.
Private David Vawter served with Albemarle Guards Regiment during the American Revolution.
David Vawter is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A118377.
David Vawter was born about 1721 in Essex County, Virginia. He was the son of John Vawter and Margaret Noel. He married Mary Offill about 1754 in Culpeper County, Virginia. He was a guard at the Barracks in 1779 in Albermarle County, Virginia which was a Prisoner-of-War Camp during the Americam Revolution.[1] He died on 24 Mar 1785 in Culpeper County, Virginia.
