Biography
William Denison, the fifth child of John Borodell Denison and Phoebe Lay, was born on 7 April 1677 [1][2] at Stonington, Connecticut.
He died on the 13th of February, 1730 in Stonington. [3]
Military Service
Capt. of Stonington Company, Stonington, Connecticut
He married Mary Avery, daughter of Abigail Chesebrough and John Avery, in 1698. During the ensuing timespan through February 1722 /23 they had at least ten, perhaps as many as 12 children, all born at or near North Stonington, possibly one at Preston, Connecticut.
William Denison died in North Stonington, Connecticut 30 Jan. 1730 [Connecticut, Deaths and Burials Index, 1650-1934]. His grave is in Denison Cemetery, North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA: Find A Grave: Memorial #20769524
