Biography

Thomas Cushman Jr was born on September 16, 1637 in Plympton, Massachusetts. [1][2]) He was the eldest son of Thomas Cushman (1608-1691) and Mary Allerton (1616-1699). [3]

On 17 Nov 1664 in Plymouth, Thomas married Ruth Howland[4] daughter of John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. They had five children;

  1. Robert Cushman 1664–1757
  2. Thomas Cushman III 1670–1727
  3. Desire Cushman 1672–1762
  4. Job Cushman 1680–
  5. Bartholomew Cushman 1684–1721

On 16 Oct 1679 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts he married Abigail Fuller[5] [6] widow of John Fuller. Her maiden name was Titus. Their children were;

  1. Samuel Cushman 1687–1766
  2. Benjamin Cushman 1691–1770

Abigail also had two children from her marriage with John Fuller:

  1. John Fuller 1674–1747
  2. Abigail Fuller 1676–

Thomas died on 23 Aug 1726 in Plympton, Massachusetts[7]
