Biography

Rebecca Huddleston was a Tennessean.

Rebecca M Huddleston was born on 18 January 1835 in Putnam County, Tennessee, daughter of Isaac Alexander Huddleston (1804–1876) and Virginia Jane Allison (~1806–1842).

She never married, but had a daughter, Virginia, out-of-wedlock.[1][2]

In 1880, she was living with her daughter and her family.[3][4][5]

Rebecca lived her entire life in Tennessee. She died (age 83) on 6 June 1918 in Cookeville.[6] She was buried in Cookeville City Cemetery in Putnam County, Tennessee.[7]

Research Notes

The subject of this profile is getting confused with Rebecca Elizabeth (Huddleston) Short (1831-1934). Note that they lived in different places; this lady died much earlier and she had only one child without marrying.
