Post Script
This was before forgot that he gave three pounds a year in or as money to be paid by his three executors to Mrs. Osgood.

This may Certifie any that may be Concerned that upon the 21st of August 1693 Capt. John Osgood… in the evening of sd day being then drawing near to his great & last change & desired me to write his will I told him I feard he would not hold out to Compleat ye same he answered he hoped he should & that his understanding was good which my self & all psent were satisfied in (soe far as I have heard) & began to declare his mind as follows (viz) that he would have his farm or last division of upland & meadow equally devided amongst his 4 sons Jno: Tim: Peter, a& Samll: & as an addition to what he had formerly given his son Jno his eldest son he gave him one third of his wades meadowe & one third of his Boston meadowe, & to his wife, the one half of his house & all his household stuffe together with a piece of New Cloth he had in the chest, to his daughters twenty pounds apiece four years after his wifes decease to be payd by his three sons Jno: Timothy & Samll: whom he defind to be his executors & for his daughter Sarah (as he said) was then upon marriage, he desired she should be made equall with ye rest of her sisters and so his son Samll: he gave his homestead:

This is all I can positively speake to (my mind being in a great measure taken up about his distemper & how I might relieve him) but his sons Jno: Tim & Samll stood by his bed side all ye while he was disposing his estate & many of the neighbours were then Psent wc heard what said not by reason as abovesd

I am not certain which Pticular was mentioned first,
Dudley Bradstreet
neither is it (as I suppose) material

the rest of his estate as I understand was alsoe disposed of by him as I have heard those psent affirme, & I think those that knew him, or heard him declare his mind, were fully satisfied that he had long before determined ye division of his lands amongst his sons, the changes may not soe readily see or know ye reason of his soe disposing

I searched hi and low and cannot find a single source for the extra name "Lovejoy". Middle names for are extremely rare during 1600's. If you have a source please post in bio and I will stand corrected.
