Isaac Snow was born on February 11, 1714 in Truro, Mass.. He was the son of John Snow, Jr., and Elizabeth (Ridley) Snow of Eastham and Truro, Barnstable County, British province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. His Snow heritage went back to Nicholas Snow and Mayflower passenger Constance (Hopkins) Snow.
Isaac Snow married Apphia Atwood, daughter of Machiel and Prudence (Harding) Atwood of Truro, at Truro on July 5, 1733. She was born July 28, 1713, in Truro. They had the following children:[1]

Mercy, b. 8 December 1751 at Great Island, Harpswell, Maine
Hannah b. 30 October 1756 at Great Island, Harpswell, Maine
Polly, b. ca. 1759, at Great Island, Harpswell, Cumberland, Maine District, Massachusetts Bay, New England
Isaac and Appia Snow and family relocated as pioneer settlers of Brunswick, Cumberland County, Maine, in early 1739. They later moved to a farm on Great Island, near Harpswell, Cumberland Co., Maine, being noted there by 1747. Isaac was Deacon and Elder of at least one Presbyterian church in this coastal region of Maine.
His wife Apphia died in Harpswell, Maine, on March 1, 1792; she was 78. After her death, Isaac went to live with his daughter Hannah Snow Hall in St. George, Knox County. Isaac died in February 1799 at St. George, Knox County, Maine, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hannah Hall. He was 85 years old. Deacon Isaac Snow is buried at the North Parish Cemeteries, Saint George, Knox County,
Maine.[2]
