This profile is part of the Kinman Name Study.
Naomi was born about 1746.
Winant Vanderpool is said to have married Naomi Kinman about 1765. His birth in Pennsylvania and the recorded christening of his sister Sarah in Bucks County makes it extremely likely that Naomi was part of the family of Kinman then known to be living in that area. See John Kinman
DNA
Naomi's parentage has not yet been documented and she is added here as the possible daughter of Samuel and Margaret Kinman based on low level DNA matches. She had previously been thought to be possibly the daughter of William Kinman but more positive DNA matches have since come to light that place her a being probably more closely related to Samuel rather than to his ?brother? William.
