Edmund Strickland was born perhaps about 1610, of Wethersfield, Conn., probably 1635, of Fairfield, Conn., 1639, and of Newton, Long Island about 1652, died perhaps around 1670; married Hannah _______, who married second, as early as 1674, Richard Fidoe, who died before 22 Feb. 1683/84. Hannah died after 6 Feb. 1695/6." ^[2]

Hanna married Edmund Strickland in 1634. She did not marry Richard Ffidoe until 1674. Possibly children Grace and Richard, who were then adults, Took the names Ffidoe. Grace and Richard Fidoe could be children of Ursula Barrow, first wife of Richard Fidoe.
