Biography

When Constant Fobes was born on June 29, 1686, in Little Compton, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, her father, William Fobes (abt.1649-1712), was 37, and her mother, Martha (Pabodie) Fobes (1650-abt.1711), was 36. ^[1]

Marriage

Constant married John Little on 8 April 1708. They had 13 children in 18 years.

Death

Constant died on June 29, 1771, in Marshfield, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 85 years, and was buried Little Cemetery, Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. ^[1]

Probate

The will of Constant Little of Marshfield, widow was dated 18 November 1767 and proved on 6 August 1772 in Plymouth. She mentions her six sons, Fobes Little, John Little, Ephraim Little, Thomas Little, William Little, and Lemuel Little, and her daughters, Anna White, wife of Abijah White (executor), and Ruth Oakman, wife of Tobias Oakman (executor). Her inventory was taken on 28 August 1772 in Marshfield.^[3]
