Phebe (Crofut) Beardsley was married to a descendant of the immigrants William Beardsley and Mary Harvie.

Biography

Phebe was born in 1733 to Daniel Crowfoot and Avis Adams in Fairfield, Connecticut Colony.

In 1742, Phebe married Daniel Beardslee in Stratford, Connecticut Colony. They had at least fourteen children.

In 1778, Daniel passed away in Redding, Connecticut. In his will, he named his widow, son and daughters. Daniel's estate passed probate on 10 May 1771. ^[1] In 1778, Phebe passed away in Oneida, New York.

Daniel^4 (Daniel^3 Daniel^2 William^1) born at Stratford, Connecticut, 22 Jan 1717/8; died in Vermont, 1778/9; married at Stratford, 10 Nov. 1742, Phebe Crofut (Crofoot). daughter of Daniel and Avis (Adams) Crofut. His estate, recorded at Manchester Vermont, names his widow, sons, and daughters.

ii. Sarah, b. 21 April 1745; m. at Trumbull, Conn. 4 March, 1759, Peleg Sunderland. [This is unlikely since she would have been 14 years old when married; instead, there are two other likely Sarah Beardsleys]
