Their children are listed as John, Samuel, Mehitable, Lydia, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Susannah and Hannah and a grandson Thomas Tobey, son of Mehitable Crowell and Thomas Tobey, Jr.

Please provide reliable sources showing Susannah's LNAB was Crowell.

If this is tradition, and no parentage has been intended, might that be clarified in her narrative to avoid future confusion?

I find no sources at all that show her last name was Crowell. All the sources Torrey cites do not show her last name at birth, and only 1 shows her name was Susanna.

This profile should be changed to Susannah Unknown.

Susannah had parent links added today, but no sources were provided. This may be work in progress, but if sources do not appear shortly I recommend severing the parent links. Susannah does not appear in the list of children in the proposed father's profile (Crowell-133) and there are no children listed in the proposed mother's profile (Hammond-11778).
