Biography
Andrew Eliot was born 11 Sep 1683 [11th Day of 7th month in the old calenedar] in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was the son of Andrew Elliot and Mercy Shattuck.[1]
Andrew died 7 Jan 1748/9 in Beverly, Massachusetts.[2]
Information from book by Francis Higginson Atkins has his death date as being in 1749. [3]
Last Will and Testament
Andrew Eliot of Boston, shopkeeper. Will dated March 17, 1748 and presented April 4, 1749. Names daughter-in-law Elizabeth Eliot, wife of son Samuel Eliot, decease, son-in-law Nathaniel Thayer, husband of Ruth Thayer deceased, son Andrew Eliot, loving wife Ruth. Mentions a house and land in Boston currently in the possession of Mrs. Catherine Bulfinch. [4]
