Hi Carolina - It's the first annual check-in for the Holocaust Project.... are you still interested in being a member? If so, please reply to this post. If we don’t hear from you in a month, your membership badge will be removed. In this case please don't be offended ... you're welcome to rejoin at any time. Please also note, that in order to receive help researching your ancestors, membership isn't mandatory. Just ask your questions in the G2G forum and tag them with holocaust in order for knowledgeable people to see them.

-Elaine, Holocaust Project Leader

Carolina, In honor of Family History month, I am contacting project members to let them know about the Source -A-Thon being held at WikiTree on 1-3 October 2016. It's a hallmark event and we have already signed up 318 members. Some of us have decided to work with selected profiles of their own interests; others want to belong to project teams. Would you like to help out to support a cause so dear to my heart ?

The benefits ? You can win prizes, but the best part is that we all work together here and try to provide sources on those unsourced profiles.

Hope you join us. Visit G2G to get your source-a-thon number & badge.

Every little bit helps. Thanks so much.

Hi Carolina ~

Did you know that if you add Holocaust and your surnames to your list of followed tags, you'll see all of the G2G discussions about them in your G2G Feed. Thanks for your interest in Wikitree's Holocaust project.

Hello Carolina,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created. We also have [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Contact_a_Mentor Linda

My father and I have been gathering papers and certificates on our family that go back 300 years, which is amazing on its own. But a few years back, we started to try and update the tree we have (made by a specialist in 1978) and we found out how hard this actually is :) . If I can help with what I have, maybe others can help on verifying what I don't have. Team work!

Peace, Carolina.
