Biography

First town clerk of Brookfield. His handwriting is still in fine condition in early records. He lived on Longmeadow Hill. (Hawley)

"They lived in the house at the Iron Works, so called, until 1783, when he built a new one on Longmeadow Hill, which has recently been taken down. He was a manufacturer of brass clocks..." (Starr: Page 364)
