Came over here 20 years ago, however, trying to track down some of my ancestors which immigrated from Gelsenkirchen/Germany in the early 1900s.

i.e. Anton Thiel who arrived with the SS Hannover in 1923, supposedly settling in the Chicago area with his sister-in-law Martha.
