Biography

Francois Hippolite Boutin was born about February 1802, the son of Paul Boutin and Anne Taylor. His baptism on 10 October 1802, at the age of 8 months, was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. His godparents were Francois Goiverant and Magdeleine Miller.^[1]

He was not quite two years old when he died, and was buried at St. Landry Church Cemetery on 15 October 1803.^[2]
