According most Dirkje Pieterse Coeymans is a daughter of this Pieter as well, so I'll connect her to these parents . See: Pieter Coeymans

Coeymans-35 and Coeymans-29 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP name. No tree conflicts. Thanks!

The match of Coeymans-32 appears to be a semi-conflation of the father and son.

Pieter, who clearly existed based on patronyms, may not have ever emigrated. The People of Colonial Albany site says that Barent Pieterse immigrated with his father, but his father was not mentioned in regards to the ship and Barent became a young apprentice. For his brother (as cited in a court case) Lucas, the People of Colonial Albany site says that he was the son of "New Netherland pioneer Pieter Barentse". The source is unclear.

Coeymans-3 and Colymans-2 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. The 1594 birth is exact, but the 1580 is only an estimate about. Thanks!

Ryan, you imported Pieter in error here as Son of Barent Pieterse Coeymans and Gertruy De Vos. But you also have the same Barent as Pieter's son. Both supposed parents are clearly the wrong generation, so I am going to detach them.
