Hello Jean,

my second cousin once removed and I both have a DNA match with you on GEDmatch. You must be related to us through my great-great-grandfather Andreas Assmann, since that is the only ancestor I share with him (Andreas was married twice, my cousin is a descendant of his first wife). Andreas lived in Volhynia/Ukraine and we think that they originally came from Prussia, because that's what Andreas's son told my cousin. We can't find where they came from, maybe you can help?
