Biography

Gracie (Ring) Vance has German Roots.

1. Gracie Ring was born the daughter of John Ring and Emma Willard. She was born in 1907 in Pulaski, Virginia. Grace was married 3 times. Her first husband was Riley Spry and they were married in Orville, Logan County, West Virginia. She was 18 years old and Riley was 21. Riley worked in the coal mines and they lived in McBeth, West Virginia.[1]

2. In 1910 Grace's family lived in Sullivan County, Tennessee.

2. The 1930 Census finds Riley and Gr ace living in Logan, West Virginia with their two daughters, Helen and Emma.[2]

3. Grace's 2nd husband was Lewis Nelson. They were married in West Virginia.

4. Gracie's 3rd husband was Paris S. (Dockey) Vance from Gill, WV. They were married in Lawrence County, OH, USA in 1944.[3]
