Hi Robyn

On behalf of the Australia Project leadership team, we're carrying out a Project Members Check-in to see if you are still interested in being involved as an active member of the project. In particular, we are ready to launch our new teams for the project. Please could you let me know what team/s you would like to contribute to. A list of teams is on the Australia Project page. Please respond by private message.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm in working on Australian profiles on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project. Regards, Gillian

Hello Robyn

Welcome to Wikitree! Good to see another member with an interest in Australia on the site. Perhaps you might like to join our Australia Project or one of the sub projects?

Join our Australia Project Google Group, by emailing [email address removed] or see us on Facebook Wikitree in Australia.

Hi Robyn

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made a few contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

By your tags I thought you might like to check out our Australia Project

Also, here is a list of our WikiTree projects you might like to check out: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects

And.. why don't you also stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus.

Hi Robyn, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the Australia project, (currently led/coordinated by Paul Bech to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!

Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!

Welcome to the Wiki Family, Robyn --

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering.

Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

The Question of the Week is “When did you realize the importance of sources in genealogy?" Stop by to join in the discussion.

See you in the branches --

Hello Robyn,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
