Hannah was the daughter of John Carter Jr. (abt.1722-abt.1800).

Children were:
i. James Carter was born on 14 September 1755 in Harpswell, Cumberland County, Maine, USA. He died on 14 February 1813 at the age of 57 in Maine, USA.

iii. Eleanor Carter was born on 19 October 1757. She died on 5 April 1806 at the age of 48.
