Andrew Stuart McLean was born in Montreal, Quebec on April 19, 1948[1]. He was the son of Andrew Thompson McLean OBE and Margaret Patricia Godkin. Both his parents were born in Australia and emigrated to Canada in 1947.

Canadian radio broadcaster, humorist, monologist, author.

Named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2011.

Stuart died in Toronto, Ontario on February 15, 2017[2]. He had announced that he had been diagnosed with melanoma in 2015.
