Born 24 January 1962, I am the youngest of 7 girls, and 11th child to Kurauia (Kitty) James nee Haimona and Hirinitane Hemi.
I was born in Rotorua Bay of Plenty attended Whangamarino Primary in Rotorua before family moved to Auckland. In Auckland I attended Lynfield College and later that year Rosemont Residential which was a Catholic School. After my education era I went in search for a Church to fit in with what I believed, or more particular the God I believed in.
I Married Shaw Min Yang a native of Hualien Taiwan in October 1983 divorced in October 2000. After extensive travels between New Zealand and Asia from 87-2000 I moved to Sydney in 2001-2006 then Western Australia from Dec 2006-2017.
2008 I created Allgood Site Service, a Cleaning Company covering New-Builds, High-rise and Low-rise Apartments, Residential Homes, Aged Care Homes, School Upgrades, Commercial Buildings, Hospital Upgrades, and Medical & Ambulance Stations.
2017 I relocated back to Sydney NSW and March 2022 I returned to Rotorua New Zealand where I am currently living.
I started my family tree in 2012, but with lack of resources and knowledge, I put that on hold until 2016 after the passing of my second eldest sister's where I was asked by my first cousin, to think about completing my paternal Grandmother's family tree, since then I have been constantly researching, and reading old documents and books in which my ancestors were well known figures in New Zealand History on both my Irish/English side and my Maori side. Ancestry DNA have opened more gateways on which the Polynesian side/ Hawaii/English/Wales, Scotland and Spanish/Mexican have now blended into my extended and new relatives.
Had 2 children Daughter Michelle James Born 5 Nov 1977, Auckland Hospital New Zealand
Son Damien Yang Born 8 February 1982, Rotorua Hospital New Zealand

I'm looking forward to working with you on those profiles! I have sent you a private message with details.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Error <ref> I added my grt grandfather name Harere Rapata hence the error. Tried correcting it via profile a few days ago and also a few mins ago. Refreshed and no changes as yet.
Am I being over reacting? Impatient?
I am looking forward to hearing from you and helping you to merge your profiles.

When I click on the merge profile is the merge becomes the chosen profile and unclicked merge is removed?
One profile has my DNA test the other Dont and I am alittle afraid I may lose the wrong profile
So it it safe to say To choose the merge of the non DNA info
Tad confused sorry

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
I am very pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
It is best to start with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Happy tree climbing

Could you give me a little more info? I've checked your contributions and can't see where you created profiles previous to this reply. I haven't come across an issue like this one and might have to seek some extra help from my group leaders.
Kindest regards, Pam
It appears that you have a duplicate account..is this your other profile Gail James? If they are both yours we will need to merge the two accounts where the lowest ID remains.
Let me know if you need further help with the merging.
You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:
Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.
WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
When you confirm your email address, youll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
We're really glad you're here!
