Simple Cousins Tree.ged imported Sep 20, 2017, is a simplified smaller version of my main Cousins Family tree on Ancestry.com, user name steve6654 , which is a work in progress since December 2013. This larger tree has been enhanced with personal family information, mostly from my mother, research on Find My Past, Devon Family History Society, Yeo Family Society, and via lots of correspondence and research with DNA matches on AncestryDNA, FTDNA Family Finder, GEDmatch, My Heritage, LivingDNA, DNA Land; as well as many many other sources. With time I will add further references to my tree on here.

Hi Steve,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

My Elizabeth Cousins born about 1760 in DEVON -died 1825 in Windsor Nova Scotia was pregnant with child of butcher named Springer from DORSET (bastardy report) when she married Wm Bowes from IOW. She got around.

Sadly I think your Cousins's are from the wrong end of Devon for us to link.

Thank you. I’m not sure yet if I’m related to a Devon. William Cousins Sr from Sugar creek Pennsylvania. Is as far as I can go back. They have a huge family so I’m trying to figure everyone out. I’m mostly on Ancestry.com.

Sadly I think your Cousins's are from the other end of Devon from mine.

Hi Steve, my dna results are in (linked to my Ancestry tree). How do we compare results? Possible Hutchings overlap (see a few messages below)
Hi Steve,

I've tried looking at your public tree but as I'm not a paid up member of Ancestry I'm unable to view it. This is why it is important to add all the source information on WikiTree not just reference it back to Ancestry.com Because Ancestry.com are putting so much information behind a pay wall it is difficult to verify data.

Hi Steve,

Your Ancestry Page is locked as private so I can’t access it to see any details. Could you open it to the public or to me? My Ancestry I’d is DTgen. Thanks

Hi Steve, Welcome to WikiTree. Regarding the Wills merges I’ll take a closer look at these before approving the merges. I noticed that none of your Wills profiles are sourced, but are a gedcom import from Ancestry. It will be time consuming but you will need to add primary or secondary sources to each supporting each fact. See my Thomas Wills profile as an example. It’s great to find a Wills cousin as I’ve been looking for over 30 years and not found any so far.

Regards DT.

re Devonshire families, my Edmunds side is more Dorset and Hampshire. However I see you have Hutchings ancestry, where we might have some overlap. see my rootsweb tree

I plan to do the DNA test next Christmas :)

Hi, Steve, I merged Agnes Dammarell descendant line in. but I don't think I change any of her data.

Hi Steve–

We are happy to have you as a member of WikiTree. I hope you’re enjoying being here.

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can help you with?

Shirley – WikiMentor

Hey Steve,

I need to work on WikiTreeX from Chrome browser myself as I just have not pushed myself to do it. I will make a concerted effort to use it as that would be useful for all! Thanks so much for your great note!!

Leisurely, Cindy

Hello Steve,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiMessenger

PS Just love your last name as that is what I seek...lots & lots of cousins!
