Biography
Mary "Polly" McGregor, daughter of William McGregor McGregor, was born in 1809. The 1850 and 1860 U.S. Census records shows she was born in Kentucky.[1] [2] Many researchers show she was was born in South Carolina.
Polly married Preston Fox on 23 August 1827 in Hopkins County, Kentucky [3] and were the parents of seven children.
The 1850 census shows, Mary, age 41, living in Hopkins County, Kenucky, with husband Preston and their children. [1]
She passed away, age 56, on 7 August 1865 in Hopkins County, Kentucky, and was buried at Lick Creek Cemetery, Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Kentucky. [4]
