Biography

I was born in Te Rangi Maternity Hospital, Nelson, New Zealand on 13/11/1950 to parents Zita Olive Ercolano and Alton Vickery Wilfred Vercoe. I have 3 siblings, those being Karen Marie, Sharon Olive and Paul. My family moved to Takaka when I was about 3 years old and returned to Nelson when I was about 5 as I started school at Tahunanui Primary School. We then moved to the Wood Area in Nelson and I attend primary school at Tasman Street Primary and then onto Central School, Nelson Intermediate and Nelson Girls College. I commenced work as a clerk at City Carriers Nelson Limited when 16 years old and then continued with the parent Company Transport Nelson Ltd, until my Marriage to Ian Geoffrey Wilson. We lived on a farm in Rai Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand. In 1976 we separated and I went to live in one of my Grandfathers flats in Bridge Street, Nelson. Some years later I remarried - to John Robert Scott and we moved to Hamilton where I still reside.
