My name is Linda L Welch, daughter of George O. Welch. George was born in Bristol, CT April 22, 1920 and died June 9, 1973. I am researching the Welch line. I know that my father, George was the son of John Franklin Welch born on Sept 23, 1889. It appears that John was named after his father John Franklin Welch, Sr who was born abt. 1858 possibly in Plainville, CT. Thomas Welch was the father of John Franklin Welch, Sr. Thomas was born in Leitrim, Ireland. He immigrated to the US and settled in Plainville, CT and died there. Thomas's father was Patrick Welch from Leitrim, Ireland.

Hello!

The confirmation for WikiTree Guest access comes to you as an email, so you need to check your inbox and spam folder.

If you cannot find the email, a new confirmation email can be generated at E-mail confirmation problems. This is all a process for the WikiTree server to become acquainted with your email server and vice versa so the computers can route the emails properly, so this process is primarily done by the machines with a little help from you.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this or anything about WikiTree.  :-)

Cindy ~ WikiTree Greeter

PS If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page.

Welcome!
