Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Perhaps you would like to join the South African Roots Project ? Besides links to sources, there are help pages that might also be useful.
South Africa as such and the provinces did not exist until the 20th century - please ‘’hide’’ the automatic place names suggestions for pre-1900 South African profiles!
You sent me a question: "Please see the Soldyboek for Harmen Franke as uploaded. It contains details of his journey to the Cape and his death on 14 Sep 1727. Although he baptized a son with Anna Willemse his belongings are bequeathed to his brothers indicating that he had no wife or kids as heirs. The baptism does not mention that the child was illegitimate either. Could there possibly have been more than one Harmen Franke at the Cape? None that I could find."
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
