Biography
The biography for Bruce Wilkerson is a career firefighter / Emergency Manager for Harrison County Mississippi. In 1997, Firefighter Bruce Wilkerson received a Medal of Valor for saving a Human life by the Harrison County Board of Supervisors. He was the Liasion for the City of Pass Christian during Hurricane Katrina in 2005 at the Harrison County Emergency Operations Center when the Mayor fled the City and was sworn in as the temporary Mayor until He was located, In 2010 Bruce Wilkerson was the operations officer for Harrison County Emergency Management during the BP Oil spill. In August 2014 The movie Impact Earth was filmed in Gulfport Mississippi and Bruce Wilkerson was an extra in the command center of the Movie. On July 14, 2015 Nancy Kay Sullivan published the book Katrina, Mississippi: Voices from Ground Zero which mentions Bruce Wilkerson during Hurricane Katrina.
