Johannes was born 16 Jan 1746 in Krehwinkle, Heiliges Römisches Reich [citation needed]; the DAR list Krekwinkel Wurttemburg Germany. He was the son of Hans Koser and Anna Barbara Schwarz.
Patriotic: during the American Revolution: He paid the Supply Tax in 1779, Pennsylvania. [1]
He passed away 13 Oct 1814. Tyrone Twp, Cumberland, Pennsylvania as per his DAR record.
JOHANNES KOSER (1746-1814) Johannes Koser was born in Krehwinkel, Wuttenburg, Germany on January 16, 1746. He came to America with his family in 1749. He married Gertraunt WALBERT (1757- ) about 1778 in Berks County Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Christoph Walbert who emigrated from Germany about 1750. Johannes died in Cumberland County Pennsylvania on October 13, 1814. The children of Johannes Koser and Gertraunt Walbert were: 1. Rosina Koser born on June 15, 1779 in Pennsylvania. 2. George Koser born in 1780 in Pennsylvania 3. Catherina Koser born on March 27, 1782 in Pennsylvania 4. Maria Barbara Koser *** 5. Gertraut Koser born on February 05, 1787 in Pennsylvania. 6.
