My tree has at least three generations of personally passed through family information. Beyond that some errors are possible although family are collecting as much paper trail as we can. We are looking for certification of Jacob Heffner origin and passage through WV? to Lawrence County OH. Also Jacob's burial site. We are looking for certification of George W Frankham's 1810 - 1849 parentage and genealogy as well as burial site. We are looking for certification of John B. Luck's heritage, specifically Caroline Co VA to Botetourt Co VA? England to Caroline Co Va? both of which are mentioned in older historical writing.

Hi,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Thanks "Cuz!" Even though a few times removed.

Appreciate the Dillon additions.

Hi! The database error report for the Appalachian Roots sticker shows that you're missing "state=" and are also using two values for state, one of which is not a listed value. Instead of {Appalachian Roots|Southern Ohio|West Virginia} it should be {Appalachian Roots|state=West Virginia} - use double braces front and back instead of single braces (if I use the double braces in the comment, it shows the sticker instead of the coding).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers, Liz

Hi, C,

Welcome to the Appalachia Project - North Central Appalachia Team!

When you have the chance, please add your North Central Appalachia interests next to your name on this page.  Also, please review our Reliable (and Unreliable) Sources for the Appalachia Project ( LINK ) to help with sourcing our Profiles as you add or come across them.  WikiTree requires valid sources on all Profiles and our Project has certain requirements for sources.  Check the Appalachia Stickers Page for tips on adding stickers to profiles.

I am always available for any questions or help.  Thanks for joining the team.

How do I post my linkage to George Phillip Luck?
posted by Anonymous Luck
Hi C,

Cheryl did not see your message because it was posted as a comment instead of a reply. I would be happy to help you. Can you explain exactly how you are wanting to post your linkage to George Phillip Luck? You can add your line of descent on your biography, or you can start building your family tree and connect it to his profile. If you are referring to something else please let me know.

I figured out how to do it. He was definitely my father's gr grandfather through a different child than those listed for George Phillip so I thought the other family would want to know.

I am happy to see that you were able to figure that out. Thank you, for collaborating with other members in order to create a more accurate family tree.
