Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles that you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
thank you for your kind offer of help.
I have one question concerning the "Tags" I used to follow (e.g. "Lancashire", "Ireland") which only appear to be considered as family names, whereas I was hoping to follow activity concerning the geographic region of Lancashire, England, UK, or in the Republic of Ireland. While I am asking, is there any way to make the distinction and/or limit it to a certain time period (e.g. the region of "Lancashire" before 1700, the Republic of Ireland after 1700)?
Thank you especially for the P.S. - I will investigate it. My present "source" only being the family history compiled by my grand-father and his grand-father.
Kind regards, Steven
