Biography

Catharina was born in Raysester (Rochester), Ulster County, New York, and baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, on 30 November 1701, recorded as a child of Moses du Puy and Maria Wyncoops.^[1] She was her parents' third daughter to be given the name Catharina (various spellings).

She married Benjamin Schoonmaker in the Kingston church on 10 May 1722.^[2]
