Mr. Miller, William Chester "Whitehead "Abels was my 2nd great grandfather. His fathers name was James Christopher Abel 1795-1860 . There is a great deal of history on his ancestry . William Chesters' mothers name was Sarah Stacey 1799-1855 but I have yet to be able to find information on her. If you have any information that you are willing to share I would be more than gratefull. Please send email to [email address removed]

Hi!

Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few quick tips to help you dive in even deeper:

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, Merging and Templates.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.

As always, I'm here to help!

Hi Mark! Now that you've had a bit of time to enjoy WikiTree, here are a few more features you may find useful:

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found on the Bio Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom, or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!

I added you to Albert Miller's list. He appears to be in my tree by marriage; I can just turn him over to you as manager, if you'd like.

Hi Mark

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good place to start. It is a step-by-step-guide to WikiTree basics. Our Forum is searchable or you can post a question there. The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.

It is very important that no duplicate profiles are created in WikiTree. Please read this page for clues on avoiding profile duplication.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions ~Terry~
