Biography

Lessaints Abshire, a son of Jean Jacob Abshire and Marie Euranie Simon, was born April 24, 1842 in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.[1]

He married Azelie Simon on October 8, 1860 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville, Louisiana. [2]
