Biography

Nathan Anderson was born in Appalachia, in North Carolina.

Nathan Albert Anderson was born on 25 Sep 1803 in Buncombe County. He moved to Tennessee with his family and married Esther McSpadden in Monroe County, Tennessee. He moved to Walker County, Georgia with his father about 1833. This county became Catoosa County. His second wife was Matilda Magill. He was Clerk of Court and tax collector in Catoosa County where he died February 2,1879. He is buried in the Nathan Anderson Anderson Historic Cemetery in Ringgold, Catoosa County, Georgia, USA. [1]
