Félicité was born about 1728. She is the daughter of Antoine Barrieau and Angélique Pelagie Thibodeaux.
Around 1750, Félicité's parents decided to seek a better life on Isle Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward Island). The family was listed on the 1752 census at Rivière-du-Moulin-à-Scie with 3 sons and 4 daughters. Félicité was recorded at 24 years of age. [1]
She passed away on 6 Dec 1794 and was buried on 8 Dec 1794 in Trois-Rivières. She was given the age of about 60 in the register. [2][3] No spouse, parents or relatives are mentioned.
Antoinne Barriau, senior, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 55 years, he has been two years in the country. Married to Angelique Thibaudeau, native of l'Acadie, aged 48 years.

The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding case, it was given verbally to them by Monsieur de Bonnaventure, on which said land they have made a clearing of three arpents in extent on which they have sown five bushels of wheat.
