Jean Charles Barrieau was born about 1736 in Pisiguit, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of Antoine Barrieau (about 1697–1758) and Angélique Pelagie Thibodeau (about 1704–1756).[1]
Charles Barrieau (24) and Françoise Bilodeau (41) were married on August 17, 1761 in St-Charles, Canada. Françoise was born in Berthier-sur-mer, Montmagny, Quebec. This was her second marriage as she was the widow of Louis Leroux. Jean Billodo attended, as did Joseph Leroux.[2]
Charles (55) and Marie Marguerite Terrien (57) were married on February 20, 1792 in Bellechasse. Marie was born in Saint-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Charles was the widower of Francoise Bilodeau and Marguerite Terrien was widow of Guillaume Fortier. Charles Fortier was a witness.[3][4]
After Marguerite died, Charles married Francoise Bolduc on October 27, 1806. His last name was spelled Perreault, Marguerite Therrien was named, as was her prior spouse Louis Plante.[5]
Charles died on November 4, 1811 in St-Gervais-de-Bellechasse, Bellechasse, Bas-Canada, aged 71 in the record.[6]
