Biography
Clara Marguerite Becker is the daughter of John Becker and Margaret (Warner) Becker.
On February 26, 1892, at the county courthouse in Steeleville, Missouri, Clara married Nelson Joseph Shoults, son of Charles Harmon Shoults and Margaret (Quail) Shoults. (see image of their marriage certificate)
Clara's parents lived at Cherry Valley, Missouri and Nelson's parents lived at Midland, Missouri, at the time.
The couple had 7 seven children, two dying in infancy. The others are Ralph E., Charles Raymond, Nathaniel, Harmon T., and Leonard Shoults.
Clara is buried in the Cherry Valley Cemetery, in Crawford County, Missouri. [1]
