Marguerite, daughter of Paul Benoit and Élisabeth Lacoste, was born 15 Jun 1798 and baptized the same day in the parish of Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly, Chambly, Bas-Canada. Her name Jean Baptiste Messier and Marie Charles Benoit sister of the infant. ^[1]

Marguerite, daughter of Paul Benoit and Marie Lacoste and with a given age of two months, died 14 Aug 1798 and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Saint-Mathias, Bas-Canada. ^[2]
