Biography
Jane Boyd was born in Montgomery Co., Virginia on June 26, 1769 to Andrew Boyd and Mary "Little Molly" (Buchanan) Boyd.[1]
She married John Smyth on July 4, 1791.[2]
Together they became the parents of Margaret (Smyth) Lindsay, Charlotte (Smyth) Thompson, and James Boyd Smyth.
After John's death she lived on her brother-in-law William Foster's land in Franklin Co., Tennessee.
Jane died on May 14, 1819.[3]
