Research Notes

Lucy Ayers is probably not the daughter of Francis and Valentine. I can find no evidence connecting her Ayers to the Akers family, the grave of Lucy Ayers was also put up by a descendant of hers after her life time and cannot be considered a first hand source. Lucy Ayers was born in North Carolina, not Virginia where Frances and Valentine lived. She may have been born in 1885 when Frances was only 15. I'm looking into watch denomination Lucy Ayers and the Akers family were.

This profile has no sources and 1760 is likely 2 years before her parents got married. I can find no evidence of a Frances Branham dying in 1777 or of a Frances Branham being born in 1760. This profile seems to simply have erroneous information.
