Marie-Thérèse Brideau was born on April 6, 1761 in Quebec, daughter of Louis Brideau (1728–1801) and Marie-Thérèse Thomas (1735–1801).

Thérèse (13) married Anselme Landry (28) (born on March 11, 1746 in Beaubassin, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia; son of Alexis Landry and Marie Thériot) in 1775 in Bonaventure county Quebec. Their children were:

Her sons Anselme, age 24, and Alexis, age 16 both died on the same day, June 22, 1814.

Thérèse died on October 1, 1848 in Grande-Anse, Gloucester, Nouveau-Brunswick, Canada, aged 87.
