The Groff Book, Vol II, indicates that the marriage of John Groff to a daughter of Henry Carpenter is "not proven", at least by the author at the time the book was published.

The Hans Groff profile with the correct details (per Groff Book) is not Hans Graf Jr. (1697-1780) (which is currently attached to this profile), but is instead Hans Groff (1715-1797).
