'Census 1681 Census' : UPPER CITY OF QUEBEC

The couple will have at least 12 or 13 children together, their first child is born in March 1680 in Québec. They are in Québec until at least February 1683, after which they are found in Batiscan for the births of 4 of their children, 1 dying there, the last born in February 1691; by December 1692 they are in Neuville, where they reside until March 1697; in February 1701 they have a child born in Champlain, and from there they move to Sorel area, the last two children of the marriage baptized there in 1703 and 1706. 5 of their children are known to marry.[5]

Note François is only listed as François St-Michel until 1685, when he starts being listed as François Circé. Madeleine gets named Aubin on one baptism and one marriage of her children.[5] Reason being that Madeleine's mother, the widow Marie Prévost married Michel Aubin, originally from Tourouvre, on June 11, 1670 at Ste-Famille on Île d'Orléans.
